We suggest that you print-out and read this entire page of instructions before you begin. STEP 1: Download and install our free sample software on your computer. You may download (1)
a single, large file (for a "hard drive" or "CD" type installation), or (2) three smaller files (for a "three floppy disk" type installation). (Note: These instructions assume that your hard drive is named "c:". If not, please substitute the
appropriate drive letter.)
OPTION 1 - To download a large single file to your hard drive, follow the "Option 2" instructions below.
Create a temporary directory c:\temp1\ on your hard drive.
CLICK HERE to download tis.exe (approximately
4 mb). When your browser asks for a destination for tis.exe, locate and choose c:\temp1.
Using File Manager or Windows Explorer, locate c:\temp1 and double-click tis.exe to expand it into
files setup.exe, setup.2, and setup.3.
You may now skip to "To install the downloaded and uncompressed files" below. Click Here
OPTION 2 - To download three, separate, smaller files follow these instructions.
Create a temporary directory named c:\temp1\ on your hard drive.
CLICK HERE to download Disk A
(approximately 1.4 mb). When your browser asks for a destination for file diska.exe, specify drive c:\temp1.
CLICK HERE to download Disk B
(approximately 1.4 mb). When your browser asks for a destination for file diskb.exe, specify c:\temp1.
CLICK HERE to download Disk C
(approximately 1.0 mb). When your browser asks for a destination for file diskc.exe, specify c:\temp1.
Locate c:\temp1 and double-click diska.exe to expand it.
Repeat with diskb.exe and diskc.exe.
Expanding the above files will create the files setup.exe, setup.2, and setup.3 in the c:\temp1
directory. (These files can then be copied to separate, blank disks for archive or installation purposes.
See below.)
To install the downloaded and uncompressed files:
Double-click on c:\temp1\setup.exe to install the software. Follow the onscreen instructions. (All
module icons will install on the desktop. Only Study-It® and Test-It® will be enabled.)
Create an archive set of installation disks. Copy setup.exe, setup.2 and setup.3 to separate floppy disks as a "master copy" in case you need
to reinstall them later. You may now delete them from c:\temp1, and remove this directory from your hard
drive.
Note:
