PROBLEM:

Stop "window jumping" while making web pages! If you can't remember a file's name or location, it is annoying to repeatedly jump from a text editor and browser window to PC window and back.

When building a table of contents or long list of "links" offline in a web browser (*.html documents)... you must exit or reduce your browser before searching for file names or details in Microsoft's "Window's Explorer" or "My Computer".

SOLUTION:

Save Page # 2 to a place you like on your hard drive and view drive, directory, and file name information in the browser window and use the browser's "foward" and "back" buttons to navigate.

  • Download and save one of these files (Page #1, #2, or #3) to your PC and then open this page in a "browser" to review drive, directory, and / or file name content on your personal computer.
  • ...Or copy and temporarily paste this "html code" into the top of your document.
Quickly jump to different drives, directories or files, with only one click per move. When you have completed your work, cut the temporary code out of your final document.
